Important Dates

October 15th and February 15th each year

Applications are reviewed within 8 weeks from the submission deadline

What We Do Not Fund

Nestlé Health Science does not provide funding for:

  • Ordinary operating expenses or overhead costs
  • Research that has already been completed
  • Studies solely to gain experience with products
  • Individual researchers or solo practices
  • Promotional activities or product marketing
  • Political activities or lobbying
  • Projects that duplicate government programs
  • Unrestricted or general support grants

Check Eligibility & Grant Types

Before applying, please review our eligibility criteria and available grant types:

  • Research grant funding: Up to 30’000 CHF per project
  • Duration: 12-24 months
  • Available to researchers affiliated with healthcare or academic institutions
  • Patient associations and advocacy organizations are eligible
  • Projects must align with Nestlé Health Science research priorities

Review Process

Applications are reviewed by a scientific committee based on:

  • Scientific merit and methodology
  • Alignment with research priorities
  • Feasibility and investigator qualifications
  • Budget appropriateness
  • Potential impact on nutrition care access

Clinical Research Applications

If you are applying for clinical research funding, you will be redirected to Nestlé Health Science Medical Hub webpage to complete your application. The Medical Hub handles all clinical trial and interventional study requests.
